Time is up!

These are the activities we didn't get done... well, actually, we did all these things (except for #4) but we either weren't together when we did the activity or we just didn't take pictures of us doing the activity... Maybe next Summer we will be able to complete our list or maybe we should make a list for the school year! :)

This is our "masterpiece" that we made at the pottery place
in Knoxville... I think it turned out pretty nice!

#2 - take a bike ride

I had no idea that a flash will do this to a picture when
there is a reflector... very interesting. All the other
pictures we took for this activity turned out blurry
so this was the winner!
We are lucky to have a quiet neighborhood
and live on a private road... otherwise, bike riding
would not be as pleasant. We had a great time with
this activity. We don't do it as often as we should
but maybe we will start!

By the way, the bike I am riding in this picture
is the bike my dad bought me when I was 13
years old. I have taken good care of it over the years!
I can still remember that day very vividly when he
took me to Walmart to pick it out :)

#11 - play hop scotch

Hop scotch in the dark? Well, it wasn't as dark as these

pictures make it look like it was... but it was after 8pm!

We haven't played hop scotch in a long time together.

I forgot how fun (and hard) it can be. As you get older,
hopping can be quite difficult! Oh, the joys of getting older!

We had a lot of fun with this activity... especially because it
was so hot outside today!

Logan decided that the water gun wasn't doing a good
enough job so she used the hose instead.

#27 - go to a park

We went to Crowe's Park and then went to FC/Dunbar Elem
School playground to play. Both were equally hot... the slides
and swings were so hot that we could barely sit on them
without it feeling like we were getting 3rd degree burns!
Oh well... we still managed to have a good time!

#32 - go to a library & #37 - read a book together

Logan & I went to the library this morning and got her
very own library card - She thought that was pretty cool.

While we were at the library, we sat down on a
comfy couch and read a book... then we checked out a few :)

#21 - go to an outlet mall

Before we headed home from Gatlinburg, we stopped
at the outlet mall in Sevierville. It was very HOT so
that shopping trip didn't last very long but Logan
was excited that she got to go to the Crocs store
and buy a bunch of new jibbitz for her Crocs!

#14 - play mini golf

On our way home from Knoxville, we stopped in Gatlinburg
to spend the night. We played mini golf at Ripley's Davy Crockett
Mini-Golf... It was very shaded and probably one of the
best mini golf places we have ever been. We even won a
free game on the 18th hole!

#26 - paint a masterpiece

Logan and I went to visit our wonderful friends
(Elizabeth, Ben, Braden, & Kate)
in Knoxville, TN where we went to Liza Moz Pottery!
Our finished products will not be done until next
week (they only fire the pottery on Saturday) so
I will post pictures of our creations later.
